Overview

Electric-vehicle charging is the electrical scope nearly every building in our coverage area is now planning, costing, or installing. The work covers everything from a single Level 2 charger in a private garage to a 40-port DC-fast bank for a parking operator or municipal fleet, and the right install is the difference between an asset and a service liability.

ESE installs across the full range: residential Level 2, multi-family and condo-board common-area charging, commercial-garage and parking-operator banks, fleet depots, and DC-fast deployments. Our team is licensed in every state we operate in, our electricians carry the manufacturer training the chargers require for warranty, and our project managers know the load-side and utility-side approvals that EV scopes trigger. Same-day service-call work for swap-outs and troubleshooting too.

Multi-charger deployments almost always require a service upgrade and a Con Edison or PSEG conversation. We hold those relationships in house through our utility specialization, which is why building owners route their EV scopes to us when their original contractor stalled out at the load calc.

Planning your enquiry

What to share with our team.

Send what you have available. These details help us understand the site, define the scope, and identify the next step.

Service calls and maintenance cover New York and New Jersey. South Florida enquiries are for project work.

  • Tell us the site address, number of parking spaces to serve, and whether the chargers are for residents, employees, visitors, or a fleet.

  • Share the charger model if selected, expected charging needs, and available electrical drawings or service information.

  • Identify the proposed charger locations, routing distances, and any trenching, access, or parking restrictions.

  • Explain future expansion plans and the desired operating model. Available capacity, utility requirements, and equipment selection need review before a firm installation scope.

How it goes

Four steps. No surprises.

Every ev charging infrastructure engagement runs the same way. We document the work, we document the cost, and we leave a clean record so you can pick up the file at any point and know what is happening.

  1. Step 01Site assessment

On-site walk to confirm panel capacity, conduit paths, and parking layout. We pull existing utility records to confirm the service-side ceiling before quoting capacity.

    01
  2. Step 02Scope and proposal

Charger counts, charger models, make-ready scope, service upgrade requirements if any, utility coordination plan, and a phased install schedule. Cost is broken out by line item.

    02
  3. Step 03Install

Make-ready electrical, charger mounting, terminations, and commissioning. For DC-fast installs we coordinate the utility transformer or service upgrade in parallel.

    03
  4. Step 04Activate and warranty

Network commissioning, payment integration, owner walkthrough, and the manufacturer warranty registration. We stay on call for swap-outs and troubleshooting.

Common questions

Asked and answered.

  • 01

Do you install both Level 2 and DC fast chargers?

Yes. Level 2 is the bulk of our residential and condo work; DC fast is where we get involved with parking operators, fleets, and municipal projects. We can mix the two on a single site when the use case calls for it.

  • 02

Can you handle the service upgrade when our existing panel will not support EV?

Yes. Most multi-charger deployments need a service upgrade. We hold the Con Edison and PSEG relationships in house, so the upgrade and the EV install run on the same schedule with the same PM.

  • 03

Do you support charger brand X?

We install and service the major commercial and residential brands. If you have a specific manufacturer in mind, tell us and we will confirm we hold the manufacturer training and warranty status for that line. If not, we will recommend a brand that matches your use case and capital plan.

  • 04

Can you take over an EV install another contractor started?

Yes. We assess what is in place, identify gaps, and quote the work needed to close it out. The most common situation is a stalled service upgrade that we resolve through our utility expediting.
