Electrical Safety Inspections in NYC and New Jersey
Proactive electrical safety audits, Con Edison expediting, OSHA compliance walkthroughs, and the inspection paperwork that keeps a building insurable.
Electrical safety inspections sit between the daily service work and the formal violation correction. They catch problems before they become emergencies, before they become violations, and before they become insurance disputes. A good safety walkthrough is one of the most valuable things a building owner can buy.
We run inspection programs in three flavors. Annual safety audits for buildings under contract. One-off inspections for new acquisitions and due diligence. Scheduled walkthroughs for insurance renewal and OSHA compliance. Each inspection results in a written report you can hand to your insurer, your board, or your buyer.
Where it makes sense, we pair the inspection with utility expediting. Con Edison and PSEG approvals can take months if the paperwork is not perfect. Our office files cleanly and follows up so that scheduled work has the approval in hand when the crew arrives.

What to share with our team.
Send what you have available. These details help us understand the site, define the scope, and identify the next step.
Service calls and maintenance cover New York and New Jersey. South Florida enquiries are for project work.
Explain the reason for the inspection: routine maintenance, an equipment concern, a property transaction, or a requested report.
Provide the property address, equipment list, and available previous inspection or maintenance records.
Identify occupied areas and equipment that cannot be interrupted during normal operations.
Tell us who needs the findings and what report format or deadline has been requested. The inspection scope is agreed before the visit.
Four steps. No surprises.
Every safety inspections engagement runs the same way. We document the work, we document the cost, and we leave a clean record so you can pick up the file at any point and know what is happening.
- Step 01Define the inspection
Tell us why the inspection is happening (insurance, due diligence, post-incident, scheduled). We tailor the scope to the question being asked.
01 - Step 02Walk the building
On site, our inspector documents service entry, panels, switchgear, branch circuits, fire alarm, and emergency lighting. Photos go into a working document.
02 - Step 03Deliver the report
Within five business days, you receive a written report. It documents what we found, what is good, what needs attention, and what is critical. We include photo evidence and recommended next steps.
03 - Step 04Optional remediation
If the inspection surfaces work to do, we can quote the remediation directly. You are never obligated to use us for the corrective work, but most clients do because we already know the building.

Asked and answered.
- 01
What does an annual safety audit cost?
It depends on the size and complexity of the building. A small commercial space starts at a few hundred dollars. A large multi-family building runs higher. We will give you a fixed price after a brief intake call.
- 02
Can your report be used for insurance underwriting?
Yes. Our reports are accepted by most major insurers and underwriters. If your insurer needs a specific format, tell us in the intake and we will tailor the report.
- 03
Do you handle Con Edison expediting separately?
Yes. We can expedite a single application without doing the full inspection. That said, most utility-side problems are downstream of in-building issues, and we usually find both during a walkthrough.
